Hospital Privileges and Physician Care
Our physicians have hospital privileges at St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Children’s Hospital Medical Center. If your health care plan requires you to deliver or admit your child to a hospital other than these two, please be aware that our doctors will not be able to see your child during their hospital stay.
Why St. Elizabeth or Children’s Hospital?
If your plan allows you to choose your hospital, we strongly recommend choosing one of these two hospitals. Our physicians believe it is always best for a child’s pediatrician to be involved in their medical care. By delivering or admitting your child to a hospital where our doctors have privileges, we can provide the best possible care for your child.
What to Do if Your Child is at Another Hospital
In case your child is delivered or admitted to a hospital other than St. Elizabeth or Children’s Hospital Medical Center, we recommend you:

Ask to Sign a Record Release – While still in the hospital, sign a record release form that allows our office to access your child’s medical records from the hospital stay.

Ensure Record Transfer – The medical records from the hospital will be included in your child’s permanent medical record, which our physicians will use for follow-up care.
